Our physiotherapy services
MSK and Sports Injuries
We take the time to assess your body, ask the right questions, and give you a clear and accurate diagnosis so you finally have answers. From there, we help manage your pain, guide your recovery, and support you through every stage of rehab.
- Step one is reducing pain and protecting the injury.
- Step two is rebuilding movement and strength so you can return to your normal activities.
- Step three is progressing beyond recovery, getting you stronger, more confident, and better than before so the problem doesn’t come back.
TPM: Movement and Posture Screening
Our physiotherapists in Isle Of Man and qualified movement specialists use TPM to identify weak links and movement patterns that increase injury risk or limit performance.
TPM is used:
- After treatment, to guide your ongoing rehab
- As a proactive screen to catch issues early
- Annually, as a ‘movement MOT’ to track progress
Your personal screen includes:
- One-to-one retraining, combining physio, pilates, and personal training exercises
- Strength, mobility, alignment, and control coaching
- Optional manual therapy, massage, acupuncture, and taping support
Following your retraining, we re-screen and provide a full analysis to show your progress. This phase often includes physiotherapy-led strength and conditioning to support end-stage orthopaedic recovery, injury rehab, and return to sport, which can be further enhanced by our TPM service to fine-tune movement and prevent re-injury.
Vestibular Physiotherapy
These symptoms often relate to issues within the inner ear or nervous system.
At RehabLab, our vestibular rehab sessions focus on identifying the root cause of your symptoms and using targeted exercises to retrain your balance system. We help reduce dizziness, improve stability, and build your confidence in everyday movement so you can get back to life without feeling off balance.
Kinesiology and Sports Taping
These elastic therapeutic tapes help reduce pain, improve circulation, and enhance body awareness during activity or recovery.
At RehabLab, we use taping as part of a wider treatment plan, whether it’s to offload a painful joint, support an injury during rehab, improve posture, or boost performance during sport. It’s a simple, effective tool that can make a noticeable difference in how you move and feel between sessions.
Elderly and Neurological Physiotherapy
We provide assessment and rehabilitation for older adults with mobility issues, balance concerns and history of falls as well as adults and children living with neurological conditions.
Whether you’re managing a long-term condition, recovering from injury, or looking to improve mobility as you age, we focus on restoring movement, building strength, and boosting confidence in everyday life.
Conditions we treat include:
- Balance problems and frequent falls
- Age-related mobility decline
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Head or brain injury rehab
- Peripheral neuropathy
- Cerebral Palsy
- Secondary muscle or joint pain alongside neurological conditions
Ergonomic Assessments
We offer ergonomic assessments to reduce strain and injury risk in your workplace.
These assessments can be combined with physiotherapy or booked as a stand-alone service.
Your ergonomic assessment includes:
- Workstation measuring and setup advice

What to expect at your first appointment
It begins with a one-on-one conversation with your therapist. We’ll take time to explore what’s been happening, how you’re feeling, what’s changed, and what you’d like to get back to doing. This is followed by a thorough physical assessment looking at your posture, how you move, and testing both the affected area and the rest of your body to understand the full picture.
After the assessment, your therapist will explain their findings and work with you to create a personalised treatment plan. You’ll begin hands-on treatment in the same session and leave with clear home advice and tailored exercises to support your recovery.
Before you go, we’ll book your recommended follow-up sessions to match your recovery journey so you know what to expect and how we’ll get you back to doing what you love.
